Dave Winer extends an olive branch to the Atom contingent to unite the two formats:
“RSS is here to stay and so are Google and Movable Type. Let’s all acknowledge that and stop this fight now.”
I think this is an obvious choice. Hope it happens.

Dave points to an interview with Sun’s Jonathan Schwartz by Steve Gillmore:
“And there is already so much innovation occurring in the RSS community óthe number of articles written on RSS today is staggering.”
It’s amazing that it has taken so long. Sun’s adoption of RSS is welcomed news though.
